Film zatytułowany „As Told To G/D Thyself” został wyreżyserowany przez grupę Ummah Chroma. W jej skład wchodzą sam Kamasi Washington, Bradford Young („Selma”, „Nowy początek”), Terence Nance („Random Acts of Flyness”), Jenn Nkiru (teledysk Beyoncé i Jaya-Z „Apeshit”) oraz Marc Thomas („Michael & Javier”).
Film jest inspirowany albumem „Heaven and Earth” i będzie zawierał oczywiście muzykę Kamasi Washingtona.
Najbliższa edycja festiwalu Roberta Redforda odbędzie się w dniach 24 stycznia – 3 lutego.
